John Kelly
A tribute to John Kelly
This page is set up as a tribute to Mr John Kelly. During the 1990s, he collected over a hundred old photographs of Addiewell and Loganlea for an exhibition on the history of the village.
Afterwards, he gave permission to the West Lothian Local History Library to copy many of his photos. The majority of the photos on this website are ones collected by John Kelly. He contributed much to recording the history of the village and encouraging an interest in its past. Without his work, this wouldn't be much of a website.
Thanks are also due to Mr Adam Prentice of West Calder, who made the copies of many of John's photographs for the library; and to Mr Alex Kelly of Blackburn who gave permission for his brother's photos to be used on this website.
