I have only recently discovered this web site, and find it fascinating how pictures of a place can be given added colour and sharpness by the recall of those who were there. It provides real value in ensuring that history of a place is written by those who were there, not just those who visited briefly to observe.
I was there. 33 Meadowhead Crescent, born in that house to Wladyslaw Mejka, my father, and Janet (Jessie) my mother.
